Even though the jockstrap was initially invented to provide comfort and support for athletes, and it is still predominantly used for this purpose today, it is not its only context of use. Many men opt for the jockstrap as everyday underwear to enjoy its breathable properties and its discretion under clothes, for example. While the jockstrap has sporting roots, its use has diversified to adapt to different lifestyles and preferences.

Opt for a gentle wash cycle and product: the fabric being delicate, it is preferable to choose a delicate textile wash cycle to preserve the fibers. Similarly, for the detergent, opt for a mild and ecological product, without chemical bleaching agents or harsh softeners.
Prefer washing at a low temperature: It is recommended to wash your jockstraps using a low-temperature wash cycle (generally between 30°C and 40°C). Also, prefer air drying rather than using a tumble dryer to avoid affecting the quality of the fibers.
