What really sets our striped trunks apart from the rest of the range is their look. Three types of styles share the range:
- Classic striped trunks: horizontal bands in white/blue, blue/white or white/colour contrast. The Breton stripe at its most instantly recognisable. Understated, effective, timeless.
- Trunks with coloured trims: a mostly plain base with a contrasting panel around the thigh. A discreet graphic signature that adds character without shouting about it.
- Trunks with decorative buttons: two buttons on the front of some styles, non-functional, a nod to the look of the maritime wardrobe.
Combinations designed to go well together: enough to mix styles in a trunk pack without it looking messy.
GOTS-certified organic cotton: the same standards under the stripes
95% GOTS-certified organic cotton, 5% elastane. The pattern's modest complexity changes nothing about the standards for the material. The GOTS certification of our organic cotton trunks covers growing, spinning, dyeing and making, with environmental and social criteria checked by independent bodies at every stage.

Yes, absolutely. Customisable trunk packs let you choose freely from all the styles available, plain or striped. It's often what our customers do: a few plain classic trunks for understated days, a few striped nautical trunks for days with a bit more character. Same composition, same cut, same waistband: the two ranges fit perfectly together in the same pack.
Yes. Although non-functional, the buttons are sewn on to last, including in the machine. We recommend a delicate cycle at low temperature to protect the whole garment, organic cotton and buttons included. Air drying is still better than the tumble dryer, which wears out the fibres and can eventually weaken the finishes. Well cared for, a BLUEBUCK organic cotton trunk keeps its colours, stripes and buttons in perfect condition well beyond the first season.
